The adventitious rooting of cuttings is influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors of the vegetal material. The knowledge on the way of action of these factors in the rooting is fundamental for the success of production of seedlings from minicutting technique. The aim of this work was to evaluate the degree of linear association between the nutritional state of ministumps and the meteorological conditions with the number and the rooting of minicuttings of Eucalyptus, cultivated in two types of minigarden (sand stream bed and tubes with subirrigation). Data from CENIBRA was used, in which were analyzed the rooting of minicuttings, the number of minicuttings per ministumps, the values of chemical analyses of foliate tissues and the data of climatic meteorologial. The number of minicuttings produced for ministumps and its rooting rate were correlated with the nutritional state of the shoots and the climatic data. The results indicated that the mineral nutrition has na important role in the adventitious rooting and in the number of minicuttings produced from ministumps, causing different responses according with each mineral nutrient considered and the type of clonal minigarden. The temperature influences the rooting of minicutings in different ways, varying the effect according wiht the clone and the type of clonal minigarden. For the clonal minigarden in sand stream bed, the temperature s reduction biased toward the rooting; in the other hand, the clonal minigarden in tubes with subirrigation, the rooting is biased toward the increase of the temperature. As for the munber of minicuttings, the increase of the temperature biased toward the production of minicuttings, regardless the type of minigarden. The light influenced the rooting and the number number of minicuttings positively, and the relative humidity of the air, negatively, regardless the type of minigarden, too. The data of this study points out that the nutritional solution should be specific for each clone, in the different minigardens. The increase of the luminous intensity and the reduction of the relative humidity of the air biases toward the rooting of the minicuttings and the number of minicuttings produced by the ministumps as well.eng
